Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy. If something isn't right, you have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return.

To be eligible, your item must be in its original condition and packaging, with proof of purchase. To start a return, reach out to us at team@theauthorohio.com and we'll take it from there. Returns sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us right away. We will make it right.

Exchanges
The quickest way to exchange an item is to return what you have and place a new order once your return is accepted. Reach out and we'll walk you through it.

Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll be in touch to let you know whether your refund has been approved. If it is, you'll see the amount returned to your original payment method within 10 business days. Bank processing times vary, so if 15 business days have passed since your approval and you haven't seen it yet, contact us at team@theauthorohio.com and we'll look into it.
