Act Justly, Love Mercy, Walk Humbly

The prophet Micah wrote in the 8th century BC, in a wealthy society that had grown comfortable while exploiting the poor. When the people asked what they could offer to make up for it, they suggested rams, rivers of oil, and even their firstborn children. Micah's answer was that God did not want any of it, but three plain things harder than any grand sacrifice: do what is just, love mercy, walk humbly. This necklace supports women who have escaped human trafficking and puts Micah's words about justice back into the world.
