The Laurel Wreath Earrings

The laurel wreath was the crown given to winners at the Pythian Games in ancient Greece and to Roman generals returning home from long campaigns. The symbolism of the word has remained in the modern language to describe excellence in titles such as Nobel Laureate or Poet Laureate. Laurel in any form recognizes the honor, endurance, and long work well done of the recipient.

Hand-finished brass with brass or 14k gold-filled ear wires (hypoallergenic). Designed and made in Richmond, Virginia.
