The Moon Candle

The moon does not actually change shape. What looks like a crescent is the whole moon with sunlight on only part of it; the dark side has not gone anywhere, it is only out of sight. This candle is lit from the inside. The light reaches the part the sun cannot, the way love reaches the people we cannot see and the places we did not think it could go.

Hand-poured concrete with a coconut and soy wax candle inside, scented with oakmoss and amber. Made in the United States. 3.3 in diameter. Light gray with a touch of gold. The vessel can be re-used after the candle burns down.
