The Wildfire Print

Loren Profit Smith wrote this poem about wildflowers that bloom abundantly after a fire. Baker's Globe Mallow is one of them. Its seeds wait in the soil and bloom in abundance after a wildfire has burned through, the pink flowers coming up across ground that was charred only a season before.
