Collection: For someone grieving

Grief is what our love becomes, when the one we love is gone.

A gift to someone grieving is not meant to soften the loss, or to move anyone through it at a pace faster than their own. It is a way of standing in two truths at once: that the grief is real and must be felt, and that the love underneath the grief is real too, and is not going anywhere. These are not opposites. They are the same thing, seen from two sides.

Some griefs are mourned out loud. Some are carried privately, by the few people who understood what was there to begin with. A gift here can sit beside either kind — a quiet witness to both the sadness and the love, and a way of telling the one grieving that they are not carrying it alone.

For the ones missing someone or something they loved.
